Terms of use — Hunt.It
This is a translation of the French terms, which are the reference version. Last updated: 23 October 2026
1. Purpose
Hunt.It is a car-collecting game: players photograph cars, collect them and take part in virtual races, challenges and rankings. By using the app, you accept these terms. Publisher: Antoine Goube, sole trader (EI), trading as "Hunt. It" (see the legal notice).
2. Access and account
- The app is intended for people aged 13 and over; under 15, a parent's agreement is required.
- You can play without an account. An account (email + password) is optional and is used to keep your progress. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
3. Safety and responsibility — no phone while driving
- Never use Hunt.It while driving, nor while cycling, riding a scooter or crossing a street. Photograph cars as a passenger or when stopped in a safe place, respecting traffic law, privacy and the safety of others. The French Highway Code forbids holding a phone while driving (article R412-6-1).
- Never chase a car to photograph it, do not stop in the roadway, and do not enter private property.
- Check in the app: when the phone is moving (speed measured by GPS), the app asks "Are you driving?". By answering "I'm a passenger", you certify that you are not the driver. These answers, like your acceptance of these rules, are recorded (date, speed). A false statement is your sole responsibility.
- You remain solely responsible for your behaviour, your movements and your photos. Within the limits allowed by law, Hunt.It is not responsible for accidents, damage or offences resulting from a use of the app contrary to these rules, nor for the consequences of a false "passenger" statement.
- No limitation applies in case of gross negligence, wilful misconduct or personal injury caused by the publisher, nor to the rights you have as a consumer.
- Hunt.It may suspend the account of a player who does not follow these rules.
4. Community rules
The following are forbidden: shocking, violent or sexual content; harassment and insults; spam; photos of screens or images presented as real cars; cheating, impersonation and any attempt to bypass protections; photos that make it possible to identify people or readable plates. Content can be reported; content that breaks the rules is removed, and the accounts at fault may be suspended or deleted, without refund of virtual items.
5. Your content
You keep your rights to your photos. You grant Hunt.It a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host them, analyse them (AI), blur them and show them to other players in the game, for as long as your account exists. You guarantee that you have the right to publish them.
6. Virtual currency and in-app purchases
- Coins, banknotes, fuel and other items in the game are virtual items with no monetary value, not refundable in money and not exchangeable outside the game.
- Purchases are paid through Apple or Google, at the prices shown in the app (including tax). Refunds are requested directly from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or from Google (Google Play order history), under their terms.
- "Random" cars (packs, Pass): the rarity of each car is guaranteed and shown before the purchase, together with the number of possible models. The model is drawn at random among the cars of that rarity (preferably one you do not own yet), each model having the same chance.
- Right of withdrawal: for digital content supplied immediately, you ask for immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal as soon as performance begins. Apple and Google also apply their own rules.
Referral: a new player can enter a friend's code within 7 days of arriving (reward for them); the sponsor is rewarded when their referral has made at least 3 spots (50 referrals maximum). Creating fake accounts to obtain rewards is forbidden: rewards obtained this way may be withdrawn and the accounts suspended.
7. Reports, moderation and contact (EU Digital Services Act)
- Single point of contact (players and authorities): support@huntit.fr, in French or in English.
- Report illegal content or content that breaks these rules: "Report" button on a spot, a message or a player profile, or email to the point of contact explaining why and where the content is.
- Automatic tools: plates are blurred, nicknames and team names are checked (list of banned words and AI), and a spot reported by 3 players is hidden while we review it.
- Decisions: if we remove content or suspend an account, we give you the reason. You can challenge the decision by writing to the point of contact; we will review it. You keep the possibility of going to the mediator or to a court.
8. Advertising
Rewarded ads may be offered to you. They are optional, and consent to ad tracking is requested according to the rules of your country.
9. Availability and changes
The game is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability. The rules of the game, rewards, rankings and prices may change. We may suspend or stop the service, with reasonable notice when possible.
10. Personal data
See the privacy policy.
11. Governing law and disputes
French law. In case of a dispute, you can use, free of charge, the consumer mediator, CM2C (cm2c.net, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France; details in the legal notice); failing that, the courts with jurisdiction under the law.
